The leaves hadn't started changing yet but he could already feel the coming autumn in the air. Even the herds felt it. They had already started moving south of the territory, their fawns already half grown. It was beginning to become harder and harder for Demonic to find something to take his boredom out on. He had begun to turn on the pack members, enjoying hearing them yelp and watching the fear in their eyes. Months ago, he had fought side by side with these wolves and now, his power hungry mind was getting to him. He felt better than these wolves. The Alphess had chosen him, out of all her warriors and it got to his head. Now, instead of brothers in arms, they were his playthings to do with what he wanted. However, some of the perks of being an Alpha weren't that great. The first? Being mated to the Alphess. She had already bugged him about giving her pups. Demonic had never had "feelings" for another wolf, male or female. And Skeletal was no different. Of course, there really was no needed "feelings" for a lustful encounter to give her what she wanted but he didn't even have the lustful feelings that normal wolves did. All he wanted to do was leap into a battle and rip some throats. Skeletal's plans of ruling the whole of the lands was his lustful experience. His goals of avoiding the Alphess had thus far worked and he didn't see any reason to avert from those goals.
From his vantage point on a small cliff outcropped from the forest, Demonic could make out the stirrings of the pack far below. A few were lazing by the den while others fought over scraps from last night's meal. Demonic sat perfectly postured, his ears pulled forward and his tail wrapped neatly around his paws. Looking at him like this, it was hard to tell the real, sick and twisted, wolf beneath. On the outside, he looked the real gentleman, a brave and loyal warrior who was watching out for his pack. In all honesty, he didn't care about the pack. In fact, he was up here to escape from them. As much as he liked to fuck with the members of his pack, sometimes he just needed to get away.

The bitch still felt full of last evenings meal. Lounging not to far from were Demonic prowled off too. She knew that was his favoriate spot, flicking her own ear back she snarled as a rabbit hopped out from its burrow and then scurried back in to its own home. A smirk crossed this females muzzle twisting the darkened fur there. She watched Cloud, Fawn, Blade and Trickster fighting over the left of the meal. Pulling her ear forward as she rose up, slight pain shot threw the exposed bone upon her back leg. She shook out her body dust flying every where.
She had taken her best warrior as her mate as she thought about a few things once again. Her tail lazely laid relaxed as dark yellow orbs take everything in. Autumn was well on its way to Abyaha and she felt it. Growing more happier and happier as time made its way to the much colder weather. She thought about killing and ripping those apart a few other members whom were not of her pack. She wanted to speak with Demonic, making her way slowly towards where he sat.
The late evening sun was lowering casting a goldish glow down upon the lands of Lokni Falls, passing her brother she nodded her cranium down to him, wondering where Nightmare was off too. She was probably harassing that of Fawn the newest member whom proved herself more useful than some others that came to her wondering about the lands. She stopped short as Demonic came into veiw, his dark coat looking almost black against the beating evening.
She left a light deep growl emite her throat to let Demonic know that Skelly was there. Her ear laced against her skull hidden in the fur. As her other ear, well that was no longer there. " The pack is growing in numbers now. Since Fawn and Cloud had joined. " Happy about that though. She sat down, curling her own tail up against her flanks. " Did you hear of Cross and his bitch are about to have pups? " Her brain turned into motion. " Honestly wouldn't mind getting to one of the pups, having it played against that of Morrow Waters. If the female is pregnant even. We have already killed his brother. So what would the differance be. He don't know we are here yet. "
Oh how she wouldn't mind getting to Keiran's brother or even his entire family, for ripping her ear off during the battle they had shared. " Anything you plan on doing today instead of being lazy? " She grinned. She known he was nothing but lazy, she known him for too long to think other than that. " Or are you thinking of ways to bring terror in the eyes of the pack members? " Skelly sat there her eyes fell back down upon Blade.

Of course Skeletal would be the one to find him and ruin his solitude. Just because he felt no feelings for the female, didn't mean he didn't respect her. He had been, once, a warrior in her pack that had followed her every command without a second thought. That still hadn't changed. He also didn't mind her company. He just wasn't committed to the relationship part she had thrown him head long into. Demonic hadn't even loved his own mother. He wasn't sure he could love, for that matter. He had never cared for another breathing creature in his own life, not even himself. To up and find compassion for Skeletal was like asking him to become a different wolf. And pups? He wasn't sure he could even swallow that. With no feelings for Skeletal, it was hard to even think of her in such a way to give her pups. Plus, he would have to share the responsibility of raising them, as both Father and Alpha and he wasn't sure he'd be the best influence. He'd just want to tear their throats out if they pissed him off. But if they didn't do something soon, their rein here in Lokni would be threatened with no blood to continue on.
He acknowledged her presence beside him by flicking his tail to his other side so it didn't brush against her. Demonic was also not a very touchy wolf. They only contact he reveled in was that of a body beneath his and flesh ripping between his teeth. Simple brushes of affection, such as in their den at night or here on the cliff face when their fur barely missed each other, was just not his forte. Perhaps he could change. There was always that chance but this was the way Demonic was raised and he didn't see it changing any time soon.
"Really?" He asked. His voice, along with his appearance, could only be described as "sexy". It was gruff but had the right amount of purr to make the fur stand up on any female. He knew it wasn't the only reason Skeletal had chosen him but he couldn't help but think it was certainly a deciding factor. "I didn't think Cross could even look at another wolf with his obsessive sniveling over his brother. I'm doubly surprised a female could look past this "bro-mance" he has going on for his dead brother." The images that flashed through his mind as he spoke made him smirk. In his eyes, Cross was weak. Family made you weak. It forced you to care about someone other than yourself, forcing yourself to make sacrifices. That was not his way. Which was another reason he had pushed away Skeletal's advances for so long. Pups would only get in he way, give their enemies something to put against them.If they planned on taking over all the packs, then they didn't need anything that would hold them back.
"Pups you say?" he asked her, turning his golden eyes onto the Alphess. "And why would we take one of theirs when I've told you the reason we don't have pups in this pack. It would only cause ten times more controversy I think you're ready to take on." Although, she did have a pretty good plan. Wouldn't it be hilarious to steal one of their pups, unbeknownst to them, then send it back years later to infiltrate their pack from the inside out. They wouldn't have to lift a paw. He dug his claws into the soft soil beneath his paws. Oh but how he'd love to sink his teeth and claws into that white pelt of Cross's and turn it blood red.

She looked to him her own eyes holding a hint of deviousness in their yellow gaze. His voice ran out it was rough but held a slight something to it. She couldn't understand why she would think of him as anything else but one who would rule beside her though. He was the top of the warriors she had on her side, and she was thankful deep down inside of her cold heart. As he spoke soon, she knew that he would be intrested after what she would say fully. But maybe she would just hold onto her little plan. A cool breeze brushing threw her coat she sat there. Sure she wasnt as beautiful as a few other pack members were, the females anyway. She growled at the thought. Oh how she would get Keirans family back for what he had done to her.
But she believed what didn't kill you only made you stronger. That was ever so true, his tone got her attention as she grinned down towards the pack. " You can not tell me that you wouldn't care to take down Cross's pack from the inside. " A dark smile curved her muzzle once more, showing the stained fangs beneath. A nod was left forth, as she spoke once more. " And you know Demonic, you are right about a female who is looking past his so called bro-mance with his brother whom you did help kill. Do not forget that. " She grinned as the memories flashed. That was the day that she titled Demonic as Alpha to rule beside her. For he had caught Keiran off guard, when Keiran had gone after Skeletal after fighting and tearing this damsels ear straight off.
She held a honest respect for Demonic, but would she ever open to admit it? Probably not.. Maybe one day but not yet. Sure she had teased Demonic about having pups with her. But honestly, they had too much going on around them both. But she would wait. Wait until they both were ready. Her and him were a team, and worked together as such. He was the only one besides her brother and sister she would ever trust. And trust was something she never did give out easy. But Demonic had proven himself worthy more than once. And always did listen to her rants and raves. Always being there for his Alpha bitch. And a bitch she was. Her ear twisted forward. She was blessed with a harmonic voice, but don't let that fool you. " I wouldn't mind bringing his pack down from the inside. Hell, we wouldn't even have to get our paws dirty except tearing him and his mate apart limb by limb. "
She pawed at a rock and watched it tumble down over the embankment. As she looked back towards him then towards the pack below them. Their pack was growing. Since she was titled as Alpha by her parental guardians. She lowered her frame down into the dirt and laid there. The cries of a bald eagle rang out and she quickly twisted her ears back then forward at the sounds of a rabbit crying out, probably within its sharp talons. Her mouth watered for the taste of fresh blood, but would wait for their next hunt.
Her mind drifted to tearing apart Cross's sister and mate limb by limb, as she couldn't wait deep down inside. Only if it would come to that. Maybe if they did steal a pup and raise it as their own that little bastard would do it just for them. Oh how she thought about it, made her insides jump.

It was like she had taken the words right out of his head. That was one thing he respected about his Alphess. She was always thinking exactly what he was thinking. Perhaps it was what made them such a good pair. Oh, they would be a rather formidable pair, for sure if this all came down to war. He turned to look at her with a grin, his teeth surprisingly white for a blood thirsty demon. "I'm beginning to see why you chose me as your Alpha." he told her. He stood and shook himself off. At his full height, Demonic was a remarkable male. He had the perfect full muscled frame with the perfectly finished black pelt mixed with a silvery grey that could catch the eye. He even stood strong and tall, a male that obviously held a lot of confidence and power. With one last look over the cliff to the pack down below, he turned, facing her. "Come on. I want to kill something. Let's find something to eat. Let the pups fight over bones and scraps." With a flourish of his tail, he pranced off, his paws making barely a whisper on the soft soiled ground.
Lately, the harsh summer had forced most of the herd to move more north to keep cool and only recently, the heat has forced a drought and barely any of the herd remained anymore. Needless to say, it was becoming increasingly more difficult to find prey. Demonic had taken to raiding bird nests he found towards ground level or even scouting out the occasional squirrel or rabbit. But it wasn't enough to sustain the big male. Last night, the whole pack was able to take down a lone deer but Demonic had let everyone else eat. Now today, he was paying for it. Not to mention, he wouldn't mind a hunt with just his Alphess. Last night, they had been directing orders to others and had focused more on the cooperation of the pack then their hunting skills together. He was curious to see how well they worked together. It would come in handy someday to know how they could work together if they ever went into battle. He wanted to be sure they could work as an single unit and fluidly. Since becoming her mate, it was becoming increasingly harder and harder to be alone with her. Not with the pack growing as it was.

As he spoke about a hunt, her mouth began to water even more than it already was. Oh how wonderful it would be to take down something besides weaker animals. But something that could also injure them ten times more. Or possibly even kill them both. That was the fun in hunting though. She also rose up slowly. " I am thrilled that you are finally seeing as to why Demonic. About time anyway. " She grinned to him. Flicking her tail quickly, she stood up almost as tall as he was but not as lean with the muscle tone. Shaking out her frame once more, leaving dead leafs and dirt fly from her coat. She followed to were he looked, down at the pack. Oh, how much she agreed with him. " Shall we take off then before they see us leave? " She growled playfully. She did have a slight soft spot for the darkened male before her but would never admit it.
Her mind went straight to the strong doe that she had spotted down near the falls earlier and spoke out of it. " Well speaking of it. I did spot a doe in my travels earlier down near Lokni Falls if you'd like to see if she's there. Maybe taint the waters red? " She winked and then stalked off, her muscles rippling under her coat. The lowering sun casting down over the mountians as she looked towards the horizon, taking a breath, she smelled that of a recent buck in the area. Probably going to the meadows or the falls. She turned her head to Demonic. " Do you smell that? " Oh how her mouth watered now.
The taste of blood would be such a welcoming feeling as she known that Demonic only nibbled leaving the smaller meal last night for the others of the pack. " I wonder if you still have the quickness as you did when you first came here when my father ruled. Hell you were just a poor helpless pup. " She laughed, knowing that he did, flicking her tail waitting for him, she lowered her dial to the lands and took in the sweet scent of the deer that traveled threw here often. Well those that stayed behind, more of the younger bucks. Her stomach growled for a moment before turning to Demonic.
" Come on. " She moved towards brushing herself against a strong elm as she passed it, her paws making dust as she placed them back down upon the earth after lifting them infront of one another. Her cranium was held at shoulder height her tail straight out as she spotted the buck, a younger one, but healthy none the lease after walking a few feet from were they were.

Did she really just challenge him? His famous smirk crossed his face as she sauntered off. If there was one thing that had made Demonic "famous" for his fighting skills, it was being challenged. Demonic, since pup-hood, had set out to prove he could do anything anyone sent at him. Including a dare on his physical attributes. He followed her, a tail length behind and the smirk stayed on his face. He'd show her just how quick he still was. Just because his warrior days were limited now to sitting around and sunning himself, didn't mean he had lost his edge. As soon as Skeletal indicated the deer she wanted to bring down and crouched, preparing herself for the initial attack, he snarled and sprang past her with lightening speed, latching himself onto the hind quarters of the deer, his large black body a rippling muscle as the animal thrashed. Demonic snarled, ripping his head off to the side to make the animal stumble. The deer let out a cry of pain as a piece of fleshed ripped from it's flank. Even this quick easy snack didn't deter Demonic. He dropped the piece of flesh as the deer got it's bearings and dashed into the trees, blood dripping down it's brown hide. With a deep growl, he went after the deer, able to follow it's scent trail by the blood pooling on the ground. Through the blood craze, he had even forgot about Skeletal and the possibility that she might be mad at him. At this point, he didn't care. He wanted nothing more, now, to quench the blood lust and deliver the killing blow.
He quickly found the deer, struggling along on only three legs as it could no longer put weight on it's damaged rear leg. Demonic snarled and the deer tripped trying to get away. He didn't hesitate, in a flash, he was on the deer, teeth ripping into the soft neck muscles. The deer bucked beneath him in one last ditch effort to escape and let out an agonized moan before it collapsed beneath Demonic, it's last breath leaving it's nostrils. Demonic lifted his head with a triumphant grin, face a mask of bloody horror that dripped from his chin onto his chest. He let out a long and low howl, announcing his success and turned to find Skeletal. Now that his blood was no longer pumping and his mind had returned to normal, he could remember his Alphess and that she would probably be mad at him for ruining their hunt, a hunt, he was sure, she had wanted to execute with her new mate. They had yet to have a hunt together as Alphas and though Demonic didn't care, he had a feeling Skeletal did.

Skeletal known that she did challenge Demonic, but loved to put challenges infront of them both. As well as the pack. Skeletal was never truely a loving she wolf, but knowing that if she was, she'd be different. She would be just like the rest of the packs. No back bone, no future of really trying. No idea how wonderful it would be to let your primal fears become your strenghts. Her ears twisted back as she watched him gain upon her and then take off after the deer. Soon he was upon the deer, his claws and fangs ripping into its flanks. She growled deeply as it tore itself from Demonic, and she raced after it. Her own body quickly catching the deer off guard, adreline rushed threw the deer's veins. Dripping into the scents with the winds. She smiled to Demonic as she watched him.
The deer trying to get Demonic from its body, she smiled and moved up towards Demonic. Sure, she was upset that Demonic didn't let her join in the fun, and was angered slightly, she let that known with a quick easy growl to the dark male. She listened for the sounds of the others that would be coming shortly, if they weren't too busy themselves. The she devil moved towards Demonic and snapped her jaws twice at him. " I thought we weren't letting the others now of our own little hunt. " She couldn't help it. As she sat down, she would allow him to eat first, for he had spent most energy out of the two.
She left her tongue run across the areas of his muzzle he could not reach, a little sign of affection, but yet not at the same time. She didn't want her prized alpha to be such a mess. Surely it did bother her, for they would have to hunt again in a day or two. Or even tomorrow for the pack. But for their own hunt as one, it would happen. It was Skeletals own fault for teasing Demonic about his skills. But that was life. The sounds of crows spoke within the skies, knowing know the pack would wonder where the alphas where, she didn't care though. Why would she? They were old enough to fend for them selves.
