sarquin forest Enter Sarquin Forest, a thick and luscious place of infinite green during the spring and summer months, and fiery tree tops during the fall. Winter brings a carpet of white upon the forest, silent and still, while spirits remain high despite the continual cold. The forest has a rich history, marred by no pack wars or even a humans' footprint as of yet. Should this be the place you choose to settle in, you won't find yourself sorry in the least. wydowen valley Wydowen Valley is a place surrounded by a misty calm each morning and captivated by a warm glow from the sun during the day. Beneath the expanse of tree tops and jagged cliffs is where the heart of this territory lies. Spring and summer are especially lovely months as this area is cooler than the rest of Abhaya due to the abundant amount of shade and lower altitude. In the winter, though, it bears the brunt of harsh storms and often fills up with snow and ice quicker than the other territories. kaspien mountain The Kaspien Mountain territory boasts a wide variety of life between its snowy peaks, rocky cliffs, and wooded sloping valleys. This is the largest territory of all the packs and is quite complex with its various landscapes. Temperatures are bearable in the summer time due to a constant mountain breeze, and winter brings plentiful snow fall higher up but down in the valleys there is more shelter from the whipping winds and blowing snow. morrow waters Morrow waters happens to be the land closest to sea level, and as such it is often plagued by rain and storms. Along the vast territory are various sources of water, from trickling streams, to a large lake. As for the land itself it is mostly a large forest, but there is a valley there as well. During the fall and winter months vast herds of elk and bison move into the area, thanks to the vast expanse of flat land they have plenty of grass to graze under the snow. As for the warm months the large herds go elsewhere in lands of Abhaya, leaving the pack to hunt deer, and the occasional moose. Temperatures are pretty chilly for most of the year, but summer is by far the warmest, and the pack can seek shelter in the lakes and ponds. lokni falls Lokni Falls is the northern most wolf territory in the lands of Abhaya. The land itself was claimed only two generations ago, and the pack that resides here is proud of their home. They are a honorable pack but usually stay out of everyone else's business preferring to be alone. The large source of water draws the herds in and makes life for this pack quite easy. Prey is constantly plentiful but predators stalk these lands as well. Bears and mountain lions are common threats to the pack, and one should never really walk off alone. kaniskee lake Kaniskee mean's 'spirit' and most believe this entire area to be haunted, only the bravest of animals venture here in fear of spirits. Pitted bone like birch circle this eerily still lake leading to rumors it is haunted, by what the stories do not agree. Staring too long into one’s own reflection may cause one to see strange visions but some still fine solace here rather the fear. Moderator: Indigo |

luna mountains The Luna Mountain range is the tallest and longest mountain range in the Abhaya area. They run adjacent to the Kaspien Mountains which lie to the east. The word 'luna' means moon, which was given to the range by natives long ago when the full moon's eclipse could best be viewed from a particular peak. It is a rocky, somewhat barren place nearer the peaks, but down in the valleys below lie pockets of life; lakes, forests, rivers, and mountain meadows allow wildlife to thrive here year round. cyanne spring Cyanne Spring tends to be a gathering place of sorts, a familiar watering hole so to speak for any and all who live here. It is a lovely little ravine nestled amidst a thick forest, its shores pebbled and pocketed with moss-covered rocks. The spring winds all the way between the claimed pack territories and remains a 'loner land', where wandering wolves can congregate or simply live a low-key life alone. Moderator: Indigo |

adsila valley Adsila valley is a large, wide, expansive valley full of vegetation and abundant with prey. There are numerous places to find shelter beneath rocky overhangs and small caves nestled into the sides of the tall, jagged cliffs that line the eastern border of the valley. A small brook runs through the middle, diving the valley into two sections, the eastern and western parts. Deer and smaller prey are often found romping through the lush meadows within the valley, but beware of mountain lions, for they stalk the cliffs and will seek out a lone pup or a scavenged meal. Coyote are often found walking this land, they are rather unwelcoming towards wolves. Moderator: Indigo |

levati ridge Levati Ridge looks out over the Adsila Valley and is mostly flat and sparsely vegetated. It has various caves along it's back walls that have been home to various predators over the years, including cougars, bears, coyotes, and wolves. It is not uncommon to see these predators as neighbors and fighting over the meals they can scavenge in the desolate wasteland. Most frequenters of this area only make their dens here and travel down to Adsila Valley and even as far as Donoma River to find food and water. Moderator: Indigo |

zael meadow Hidden among the winding rivers and steep slopes of the Luna Mountains lies a peaceful, open meadow. Zael Meadow has a long reputation as being a serene abode for those who seek out a place that is quiet and beautiful. However, winters are rougher here but after the storms pass, there is usually a good amount of snow fall to tumble about in. Moderator: Indigo |

donoma river Donoma River is a vast river the travels north to south, touching most of the territories in the lands of Abhaya. During the spring and summer months the land surrounding the river is flooded and dangerous. With the colder seasons comes other dangers such as bears who flock to the rivers edge to catch their fair share of fish. The river provides a constant source of water to most of the prey animals that call abhaya home. This is a prime opportunity for those good at fishing to find a decent meal, also it is a place to cool down when the sun is beating against your back. Moderator: Indigo |

dayn island Dayn Island is a small island only a quarter mile off the coast along the outer edges of Abhaya. It is only about 3 sq miles and does not house many comfortably, however it is especially well known for its moose population. Several years ago a small band of moose swam across the shallow channel between the main land and the island and found the place quite to their liking; there were no predators at the time living there. They soon doubled and then tripled in size, feeding off of the lush grasses that grow. However, a family of wolves eventually discovered the island of moose and eventually it became known as the best spot to find prey. But beware - with the advantage of abundant food comes dangers, like the crossing to the island itself. Waves that gently lap against the white sandy shore of the Ridge become larger and more defiant waves that pummel against the rocky western edge of the island, making it difficult to enter on that end. But enter on the opposite side and there will be quite a difference; there, the beaches are small but sandy and will assure a much safer and easier arrival. Seasonal storms also batter the island quite relentlessly and quite frequently. Therefore, only true survivors can make out a living here. Moderator: Indigo |
